Ed Ryals is an associate at Boggs, Avellino, Lach & Boggs, LLC. His practice focus is in the areas of premises liability, transportation law, insurance law, products liability and defamation. He has successfully tried tort cases to favorable verdicts in over 21 jury trials, as well as numerous bench trials and arbitrations. He has also successfully challenged or defended on appeal trial verdicts, arbitration awards, motions for summary judgments, and writs in state courts in both Missouri and Illinois. Mr. Ryals has experience in all areas of litigation regarding premises liability, transportation law, insurance coverage, products liability, defamation, construction, environmental, products liability, dental malpractice, and uninsured/underinsured motorist claims.
Mr. Ryals is licensed to practice law in Missouri, including the United States District Courts of the Eastern and Western Districts. He is also licensed to practice in Illinois, including the United States District Courts of the Central and Southern Districts.
Mr. Ryals received his B.S. in 1991 from Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri. He received his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 1999. He received his license to practice law in Missouri in 1999 and Illinois in 2000. He is a member of the American Bar Association (Tort and Insurance Practice section), the Missouri Bar, the Illinois Bar, and the Lawyers Association of St. Louis.
